​The orphanage is located in the central region of Uganda, which is one of four regions in Uganda. According to the World bank, the region’s population was estimated at approximately 47,000,00 people.  In Uganda, 89% of people live in poverty, and almost half of Uganda's population is under the age of 15, representing one of the youngest populations in the world. Approximately 12 million people live on less than $1.77 USD/Day and Uganda also hosts the largest refugee population in Africa—more than one million refugees have fled their home countries to seek asylum in Uganda.  Some of our kids at the orphanage suffer from AIDS and require special medications to treat them.  Please pray and see how God would have you partner with us.
